Anonymous and K-9 Vinny

I am currently a police officer in the metro area. I was introduced to this program by a close friend of mine and was able to see first hand how this program changed her life. Throughout my life and career I have face a series of challenges and struggles. I had noticed a steady decline in my mental health over the years and knew I couldn’t fight this fight alone. I felt having a dog by my side would vastly improve my abilities to navigate my way through life. I am thankful and honored to be a part of this program and family. It’s a blessing to be surrounded by a community of people who have gone through similar experiences and hardships.
